node.js Web-App Project
Working on an Interactive event broadcast platform used by high profile clients for presentations, product launches, internal and external communications.
Role
You will be an integral part of the small highly skilled development team, working on the launch and continued development of a leading edge node.js web application.
You will be working on the continuing development of our interactive broadcast platform and its next phase launch as a full Web App Service. You will need a good understanding of how web applications are planned, built and maintained.
You’ll be joining a small focused team so expect to be heavily involved planning new features and upgrades. You’ll even get to teach us stuff and learn from other team members.
Required Experience
Min 1-2 years developing web apps within industry
Node.js
NoSQL (Ideally MongoDB)
Linux/Unix system
MVC architecture
Asynchronous Programming
Useful Extras
Git (we use GitHub)
Agile Project Management experience
Experience using Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3 etc)
Experience with streaming media servers e.g. Wowza, Flash Media Server
