Job Description:

RadioField is developing an innovative self configuring work flow system using javascript on both the front-end mobile (html5) and back-end web. Core technologies include JavaScript, JQuery, JQueryMobile, Mojolicious, Perl, JSON, and REST (which communicates with RadioField’s JQuery/Perl web site).

We are seeking a talented and experienced javascript developer who has experience with JQuery. Applicant should be familiar with modern web technologies such as MVC and have some experience in mobile applications development.

Maryland-area candidate or telecommuter with right background would be considered.

Required skills:

- Extensive modern javascript

- JQuery and/or JQuery Mobile

- Revision control (Git preferred, Mercurial/SVN/CVS ok)

- HTML skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

- Enthusiasm, determination and initiative

Desired skills:

- HTML5

- Android, iOS, Phonegap (Cordova)

- OO perl web development

- REST, JSON

- QR Codes and NFC (Near Field Communication)

- Mapping integration and PostGIS

- Mojolicious, Catalyst or another MVC framework

- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye, etc

- DBIx::Class or another ORM

- PostgreSQL (or relevant experience with another relational db)

- Agile software development

- Experience in the field service or logistics industry
